| DESCRIPTION | This study-unit requires a monograph at a Masters level, the objective of which is for the student to demonstrate his/her understanding of course material by relating it to accounting in business or the accountancy profession. This study unit provides students with the opportunity to apply empirically knowledge and skills acquired in their studies. After completing this, a successful student will be able to carry out research in a systematic manner, and describe the findings in the form of a long structured report. The report may include an extension of the previous dissertation carried out at the B.A.(Hons) Accty or B.Accty (Hons) degree or a publication derived therefrom and is required to be not less than 15,000 and not longer than 17,000 words. |
