The issue of data, transaction processing and data security aspects will be explained. - 福利在线免费 Systems (IS) in organisations - 福利在线免费 Systems updating and maintenance - 福利在线免费 Systems life cycle and planning - Implementing 福利在线免费 Systems in organisations - 福利在线免费 System types. e.g. Decision Support Systems, Expert Systems, - Web based systems and applications, Business Intelligence, Transaction - processing systems, Database systems, Management 福利在线免费 Systems. - Data capture and different types of data - Securing data. - Codes of practice and procedures for IT systems. - Tools and technologies for IT systems Study-Unit Aims: This study-unit aims at introducing 福利在线免费 Systems at a basic level. The major and main structures of 福利在线免费 Systems will be described and explained along with the types of 福利在线免费 Systems present in organisations. The reasons for 福利在线免费 System updating will be dealt with. Systems life cycle and planning concepts will be explained. These are - data capture and data types, - securing data, - backups and security procedures, - codes of practice and procedures for IT systems. Tools and technologies involved in IT will be explained. Learning Outcomes: 1.
