Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this study-unit the students should be able to:
• Demonstrate the basics of IT in a clinical laboratory;
• Compare the differences between data and information and its importance in clinical laboratory management;
• Follow the various applications of IT in the medical world; and
• Implement security strategies and using social media as means of developing laboratory medicine.
