DESCRIPTION | As part of the taught MA in Contemporary Western Philosophy every candidate is expected to submit a researched dissertation of 25, 000 words with the total value of 30 ECTS credits on a topic related to the taught components. The choice of topic must be submitted to the Board of Studies of the taught MA and it is the Board that assigns a tutor to supervise the student with the research and writing of the dissertation. | ||||||||||||
ADDITIONAL NOTES | **September Assessment Session: Students who fail to obtain an overall pass mark will be re-examined in the Dissertation. However, the resit availability for the Oral Examination is at the discretion of the Board of Examiners. | ||||||||||||
