Click on Recordings & Transcripts from the left menu.
If you would like to reuse or keep a copy of any of your recordings, you can download the recordings in MP4 format as follows:
Access the .
Click the Activate / Sign In button.
Choose Recordings & Transcripts from the left menu.
Access the required recording/s.
Click the Download button.
Follow these steps to download and reuse Zoom recordings in future academic years:
Download the recording/s as explained in FAQ 2.
Once the VLE areas of the respective academic year are launched, upload the recording/s to the Panopto folder corresponding to the academic year's study-unit area in the VLE by following the instructions in the Uploading media files to Panopto [PDF]quick guide.
It is strongly recommended that you communicate with the alternative host to check what should be done with these recordings. If you do not take action, these will be automatically deleted as per Zoom retention period.
Once the recording is deleted from the Zoom Cloud storage, access will be lost. You may choose to download the recording as per FAQ 2 and share it via alternative online hosting services.
After 1 year, the recordings in the Zoom Cloud are placed in your Zoom account Trash folder for an additional 30 days. You will receive a notification from Zoom 7 days before the recording is permanently deleted from the Trash, in case you want to download a copy of it.
