Abstract: Manoel Theatre and the South Anglia Savoy Players present the programme for the 2-act operetta "The Yeomen of the Guard" (also known as "The Merryman and his Maid), written by William Schwenck Gilbert, with music composed by Arthur Sullivan, and produced and directed by Derek Collins, with musical direction from Christopher Pike. The operetta featured music performed by the Manoel Theatre Orchestra, which was conducted by Christopher Pike and Mro. Joseph Sammut, and led by George Spiteri. The performance was held on the 25th and the 26th of February, 1985, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta.
