Abstract: The case presents a wall adherent structure in the right atrium in a young patient with peripheral tcell
lymphoma followed by successful prolonged lysis therapy resulting in the resolution of the
thrombus is presented. This case highlights the utility of multimodality imaging in an accurate
assessment of the right atrium thrombus and the effectiveness of prolonged lysis therapy.2014-01-01T00:00:00ZSevere reversible dilated cardiomyopathy associated with a large left ventricular thrombus in a young child with middle aortic syndromePonniah, UmakumaranOverholt, Ed/library/oar/handle/123456789/43232018-02-14T10:59:33Z2014-01-01T00:00:00ZTitle: Severe reversible dilated cardiomyopathy associated with a large left ventricular thrombus in a young child with middle aortic syndrome

Abstract: this article reports a case of a seven-year girl who presented with severe dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM)
associated with a large thrombus in the left ventricle (LV). She had a long segment stenosis of the
lower thoracic descending aorta, possibly due to non-specific aortitis and underwent successful
stent angioplasty. The LV thrombus resolved after heparin without sequelae.2014-01-01T00:00:00ZThe chest x-ray in congenital heart disease 6Somerville, JaneGrech, Victor E./library/oar/handle/123456789/43212018-01-03T13:02:14Z2014-01-01T00:00:00ZTitle: The chest x-ray in congenital heart disease 6
Authors: Somerville, Jane; Grech, Victor E.
Abstract: This patient (born in 1983) had presented in childhood with coarctation. He had had subclavian flap
repair at 1½ years of age. He was reviewed at the Grown Up Congenital Heart Disease Clinic last
year and had normal right arm pulse and blood pressure and normal femoral pulses. The left arm
pulses were very difficult to palpate.2014-01-01T00:00:00ZThe chest x-ray in delayed presentation of coarctation of the aortaMerrick, BlairGatrad, A.R./library/oar/handle/123456789/43202017-12-22T11:28:04Z2014-01-01T00:00:00ZTitle: The chest x-ray in delayed presentation of coarctation of the aorta

Abstract: This article shows the chest radiograph of a thirteen-year-old male. The study demonstrates bilateral notching
of the inferior borders of the 3rd-8th posterior ribs, a finding associated with coarctation of the aorta.
Blood bypasses the aortic narrowing through intercostal collaterals, which enlarge to accommodate
the increased flow rates. The pulsations of these vessels cause disruption to bone remodelling
leading to the characteristic notching.2014-01-01T00:00:00Z
