Nuovi impegni e varie incombenze ormai non mi lasciano piu tempo di sfruttare in simile modo, a base comparativa, il materiale delIa poesia religiosa popolare che ho raccolto dal 1940 in qua, principalmente nell'Isola del Gozo durante il triste periodo dell'ultima Guerra. Percio ho stimato giusto pubblicare i soli testi dei canti, ossia preghiere popolari, con traduzione italiana, che spero riuscira di qualche utile per gli studiosi di letteratura popolare.
