Abstract: Andrew Borg Wirth curated the exhibition 'Experiments in Entropy', which was hosted at Valletta Contemporary. The concept of entropy in this context encompasses construction, climate adaptation, planning, real estate, and monument-making. The diverse works on display beautifully capture the collective understanding of cultural entropy by a group of young artists, exploring its sources, evolution, and the inherent tension between architectural and cultural languages, leading to a continuous flow of metanarratives.2023-01-01T00:00:00ZOn being guilty of not really understanding/library/oar/handle/123456789/1231712024-06-04T11:37:08Z2022-05-15T00:00:00ZTitle: On being guilty of not really understanding

Abstract: Riccardo Flask has been into photography for the past thirty seven years. He learnt photography through books and magazines available at the time, and also through practice and experimenting. He worked as a freelancer, and his photos were published on local newspapers, magazines and books. There was a time where he participated in a number of photographic competitions and his work was often selected to be exhibited. He is a lecturer within the Computing and IT department, at the Ġ. F. Abela Junior College, and volunteers to take photos of the various school events and takes care of the Junior College Photography Club. A set of eight prints were chosen from a set of photographs which were taken on campus during a photo walk as part of the Photography Group activities. All the eight photos depict a theme and inspirational titles (all ending with ‘@JC’) related to the students’ college life.
