Title: Verdi's Messa da requiem (Programme)
Abstract: Manoel Theatre and the Ministry of Labour, Culture and Welfare, in association with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura and the Cathedral Chapter, present the programme for two concerts of Giuseppe Verdi's "Messa Da Requiem", performed by the Manoel Theatre Orchestra, Manoel Theatre Choir (led by Choirmaster Dion Buhagiar and Chorus Instructress Marietta Magro), and the Coro Polifonico di Napoli (directed by Mro. Joseph Grima). The concerts were conducted by Ottavio Ziino and Mro. Joseph Sammut respectively, with both of them being led by George Spiteri. The concerts starred singers Aurea Gomez (soprano), Giuseppina Dallemolle (mezzo soprano), Gianfranco Pastine (tenor), and Aurio Tomicic (bass). The performances were held on the 31st of July and the 1st of August, 1980, at St. John's Co-Cathedral, in Valletta.

Abstract: Manoel Theatre and the Ministry of Labour, Culture and Welfare, in association with the Istituto Italiano di Cultura, present the programme for a concert performed by the Trio di Como. The trio was made up of violinists Claudio Bellasi and Umberto Oliveti, and violist Emilio Poggioni. The concert featured the musical works of Mozart and Dvořák.
