Abstract: The case presents a wall adherent structure in the right atrium in a young patient with peripheral tcell
lymphoma followed by successful prolonged lysis therapy resulting in the resolution of the
thrombus is presented. This case highlights the utility of multimodality imaging in an accurate
assessment of the right atrium thrombus and the effectiveness of prolonged lysis therapy.2014-01-01T00:00:00ZThe chest x-ray in delayed presentation of coarctation of the aorta

Title: The chest x-ray in delayed presentation of coarctation of the aorta
Authors: Merrick, Blair; Gatrad, A.R.
Abstract: This article shows the chest radiograph of a thirteen-year-old male. The study demonstrates bilateral notching
of the inferior borders of the 3rd-8th posterior ribs, a finding associated with coarctation of the aorta.
Blood bypasses the aortic narrowing through intercostal collaterals, which enlarge to accommodate
the increased flow rates. The pulsations of these vessels cause disruption to bone remodelling
leading to the characteristic notching.2014-01-01T00:00:00Z
