Abstract: Purpose: The main aim of this article is to consider the main trends observed in the labor market in the regional agricultural sector. Design/Methodology/Approach: The study uses the statistical method, the method of analogy and comparison, as well as the positive and normative approach. Findings: The study indicated that in the agricultural sector there are several problems associated with the formation of human resources. This is evidenced by the presence of negative trends that have been observed over the past 20 years. The main problems are the low educational level of workers, aging professional staff, and a reduction in the number of employees in all positions. Practical implications: The socio-economic problems considered in the article indicate the urgent need to develop a mechanism of state support for agricultural workers. Abstract: Purpose: The article assesses the ecological and economic potential of organic production in the regions of Russia and substantiates the prospects for the regions’ production activity. Design: Assessment of the resource potential of the Russian regions in the direction of the development of organic agriculture, the substantiation of the effectiveness of new areas of activity for the Russian agrarian economy. Findings: The increase in agricultural and food production in excess of regulatory needs in order to ensure food security in Russia has led to the expansion of agricultural exports as well as to a change of the agro-industrial complex development vector from import substitution to export-oriented production. Practical implications: Environmental problems of agriculture are identified, mechanisms for their solution are justified. Based on the environmental and economic assessment, the most promising agrarian regions were selected as potential producers of organic products. Abstract: Purpose: Investigating the problems of personnel motivation efficiency as one of the most significant factors of the success of an enterprise at the present stage of development of the Russian economy, the authors consider expedient to consider the theory and practice of the personnel motivation system in a commercial enterprise. Design: General scientific (analysis, synthesis, comparison), and special methods of research (economic and statistical, balance sheet, design-calculation and other), document analysis, questioning, and others were used during the study. Findings: The authors revealed that the trading company should focus on the development of a system of motivation in two directions: the improvement of material motivation of staff and the improvement of non-material motivation of staff. Improving the proposed system of staff motivation will allow the company to create a favorable atmosphere in the team, increasing turnover. Practical implications: The obtained results can be used by the head of the enterprise when developing plans to improve the management system and increase investment attractiveness. Originality: This article analyzes the theoretical foundations of motivation in personnel management. Abstract: Purpose: Over the past few years in many literary sources and the media an issue of the digital economy is rapidly gaining popularity due to the qualitative technological changes in society. In current circumstances the qualitative component of labor resources called “human capital” is a priority value. Design/Methodology/Approach: The following research methods have been used in the work: monographic, abstract-logical, sociological, economic-mathematical and calculation-constructive ones. Findings: The solution of the problem of ensuring food security of the population of the region depends on the methods and strategies of applying technologies in domestic and global agriculture, as well as on the correct and effective use of scientific-technical implementations in the industry. Practical implications: Identification of segments in tourism is mainly made based on their geographical, demographical, socio-economic, psychographic, behavior characteristics or their combinations. On the other hand, the authors stress on the fact that there is no universal segmentation approach and therefore, potential tourists can be classified based on other characteristics.
