The event featured performances from a variety of performers and performing organisations. The event included performances done by the Armed Forces of Malta Band, the Guildhall Early Music Ensemble, the Anna La Rosa Folk Dancing Troupe, Dai Duo, Musique de Chambre Pro Arte, the Borealis String Quartet, Duo All'Armi, the University of Malta Vocal Ensemble, the Malta Police Band, the Rosenburg Consort Prague, and the Amadeus Chamber Choir. The event also included a pageant performance directed by Charles Stroud. The festival was held from the 25th till the 30th of March, 1996, at various places in Valletta, including the Manoel Theatre and the Valletta Campus Theatre.
