The Mediterranean's European challenge. Volume III /library/oar/handle/123456789/136373 Title: Euro-Mediterranean integration. The Mediterranean's European challenge. Volume III Editors: Xuereb, Peter G. Abstract: called the EU-Med Transnational and Regional Research Network. The first two volumes were published in 1998 and in 2000 respectively under the titles: The Mediterranean s European Challenge, and The Mediterranean s European Challenge Volume II. Volume II /library/oar/handle/123456789/136372 Title: The Mediterranean's European challenge. Volume II Editors: Xuereb, Peter G. Abstract: The papers in this second volume published under the title “The Mediterranean’s European Challenge” Volume 2 add to the coverage of the relevant issues in the first volume which was published under the same title in 1998. While no one specific theme - other than approximation to the acquis communautaire in the Mediterranean region via the Euro-Med Partnership – links the various contributions, the two volumes represent important work by distinguished Mediterranean and European Union-based academics which, taken together, presents a wideranging overview of the difficulties, progress and experience in a number of Mediterranean states.
