| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre and the Malta Song Festival Board present the programme for the National Pianists' Contest, featuring the musical works of Chopin, Liszt, Schumann, Debussy, Mendelssohn, and Schubert. The contesting pianists participating in this event were the following: Kathleen Farrugia, Kathleen De Domenico, Evelyn Caruana Galizia, Anne Gauci, Edith Mangion, Ninnia Cuschieri, Marthese Gauci, Josette Mangion, Simone Camilleri, Louise Scerri, Louis Muscat, Lilian Camenzuli, Joe Chetcuti, Edwin Demarco, and Carmen Formosa. The contest was held on the 27th of May, 1965, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
