Does minor head injury has any effect on the human cochlea? 50 patients under 30 years of age admitted to hospital with head injury had a detailed history of head trauma, ENT examination and full audiological investigations on admission and six weeks later. No cochlear concussion occurred in both instances and no statistical significant difference was observed. Minor head injury does not cause any cochlear concussion.en_GB
