Abstract

Overview: The research project titled Tini 5 successfully included two seasons consisting each of twelve weekly radio programmes. These involved prominent personalities in the exploration of their personal identities through the use of a multimodal framework.

Theoretical Framework: This initiative is grounded in the theoretical principles of multimodal theories, particularly those articulated by Kress and Jewitt (2001). This fresh and innovative format employs semi-structured multimodal interview techniques, through which each guest was asked to bring five personal objects and five meaningful songs. The latter resources on which each interview was based, collectively is referred to as 'multimodal luggage.' This approach serves as the basis for in-depth discussions shared with the listeners of the radio series.

Research aims - Key research aims pursued within this framework include: 1. Use of modes including five objects and five songs selected by the interviewees to produce an interactive radio interview; 2. adopting modes to formulate informed and structured interview questions.
