| Abstract: | Francesco Saverio Baldacchino born in 1774, was a highly respected preacher. He was an examiner in Theology, an examiner of parish priests, a well-known preacher at St John's co-cathedral, and gave several Lenten sermons and panegyrics in village feasts. He kept all the records of his sermons as well as all his activities of his convent. These records were brought to light by Fr Victor Xuereb. He informed Oliver Friggieri of the discovery of these Maltese sermons and writings, some of which are listed in this article. |
