| Abstract: | The rotator cuff consists of four muscles and their tendons: subscapularis, supraspinatus, infraspinatus, and teres minor. Non-rotator cuff structures include the long head of biceps tendon, the subdeltoid bursa and the acromio-clavicular joint. High-resolution real-time ultrasound US has been shown to be a successful imaging modality for both rotator cuff and non-rotator cuff disorders. |
