Personajes femeninos en el siglo de oro : de la alcahueta a la p铆cara

Abstract

In the Golden Age period, women as protagonists in literature, left a huge impact on the development of Spanish Literature. This is due to the fact that during this period, woman is evolving starting from the stage of a matchmaker until it reaches the stage of a rascally knave. Throughout this investigation, four protagonists will be closely analyzed, Trotaconventos, Celestina, Lozana Andaluza and Justina. Analyzing these four, enables us to observe closely this evolution. Ultimately, this evolution has to be linked with the genres these protagonists belong to, in order to bring out the relation that exists.
