| Abstract: | Malta's road towards a viable economy is a difficult one and, at the present juncture, the distance to be traversed seems very great and the journey fraught with dangers. Those dangers arise from a wide variety of causes, and they are mainly related to employment, Gross National Product and the Balance of payments. |
