On the occasion of Women鈥檚 Day celebrated on 8 March, The President's Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society invites you to a colloquium to discuss various issues concerning progress towards gender equality. During this seminar Her Excellency, Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca, The President of Malta will launch the events programme for the HeForShe United Nations Campaign.

Also on the actual day celebrating Women鈥檚 Day, on 8 March, The President's Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society invites you to a screening of 'The Suffragettes'. This film portrays the struggles of the women of the early feminist movement who were forced underground to pursue a dangerous game with an increasingly brutal state. Following the screening, there will be a discussion led by Prof. Gloria Lauri-Lucente and a presentation for young women in politics.
