Two students from our College took part in the renowned Immerse Education Essay Competition. The competition attracted entries from students representing over 5,000 schools across 150 countries and we were thrilled that students from our college were among those featured. They were recognised for their outstanding achievements and dedication to academic inquiry. Their essays reflected curiosity, depth of thought, and a passion for exploring complex ideas.
Louie Cotter wrote an essay titled “What is the significance of the search for a theory of everything?†and was placed on the Honours List.
Alistair Bugeja, who earned recognition as a Certified Entrant, submitted an essay titled “Define Universal Basic Income and Evaluate the Challenges and Opportunities it Presents.â€
All recognised participants are invited to join the Immerse Scholars’ Salons, exclusive online academic forums led by world-class tutors and guest speakers. These sessions provide opportunities to broaden subject knowledge, strengthen writing and critical-thinking skills, and connect with motivated peers from around the world.
