Convergence: An International Adult Education Journal 47(1) online

The latest issue of Convergence. An International Adult Education Journal,  Vol. 47 No 1, is now available .

It is a bumper issue with seven articles from different corners of the world including papers from last November's CALE 2025 (Critical Adult Learning and Education) conference, another on Indigenous Education in Australia and one celebrating the birth centenary of Ivan Illich who, in this article, has his ideas compared with those of Aldo Capitini. The issue contains three In Memoriam pieces and three book reviews.

The journal is produced by the UNESCO Chair in Global Adult Education, in association with the International Council for Adult Education (ICAE). It was revived in 2022 by the UNESCO Chair in Global Adult Education at UM after a 12 year hiatus.
