Campus 103.7 listener wins the Campus Breakfast Costa Fascinosa Cruise Giveaway in an exciting on-air competition

The Campus Breakfast Costa Fascinosa Cruise Giveaway, hosted daily during by Antonella Galea Loffreda on , reached an exciting conclusion last week as loyal listener Pauline Scerri was announced as the grand prize winner, securing a once-in-a-lifetime cruise experience aboard the sailing from Malta this June.

Throughout the giveaway, which kicked off in September, listeners tuned in daily to Campus Breakfast and took part by texting in song titles featured during the programme. Every valid entry was recorded into a digital wheel of fortune, which eventually selected the three finalists:

• Pauline Scerri
• Chris Attard Biancardi and
• Erika Bugeja.

The finalists advanced to a live on-air finale held at the Campus 103.7 studios in the presence of Station Manager Celaine Buhagiar, Campus Breakfast presenter Antonella Galea Loffreda, Orange Travel Creative and Marketing Executive Anthony Sultana, and University of Malta legal counsel Dr Annemarie Galea, who supervised the process to ensure full transparency and adherence to regulations.

As part of the competition, finalists were first asked to present hand luggage weighing 10kg or less. Their luggage was weighed and then inspected for any prohibited items in line with Costa Fascinosa onboard procedures. After successfully completing this phase, contestants proceeded to Studio 3 where the live finale officially began.

During the first stage, finalists took turns selecting items from three separate lists containing objects that could prove useful onboard the Costa Fascinosa. The first list featured everyday essentials such as passports, toothbrushes and sunscreen, while the second and third lists included more cruise-specific items such as lanyards and themed clothing for themed nights organised onboard. Contestants were awarded points for each requested item they successfully thought of packing from home.

The second and final stage tested contestants’ knowledge of the Costa Fascinosa: Our Flagship Route, including the ship’s itinerary and destination countries, rewarding both preparation and familiarity with the cruise experience.

After a closely contested and entertaining final round, Pauline emerged as the overall winner, securing a cabin for two people on a full-board basis aboard the Costa Fascinosa, sailing from Malta on 19 June and visiting Catania, Taranto, Argostoli, Mykonos and Piraeus before returning to Malta.
