After visiting the University of Malta’s Msida campus just last week, Education Minister Dr Justyne Caruana paid a courtesy visit to the on Thursday 10 December 2020.
As Dr Caruana had said on a previous occasion, she plans to visit the various educational institutions across Malta and Gozo.
The Minister met with Rector’s Delegate for Gozo, , who was accompanied by and , administrators at the campus.
The Minister was briefed on the infrastructural works being undertaken at the campus, and on future plans to increase university courses and activities held in Gozo.
Minister Caruana then mentioned the great potential of the campus to bring together more academics, staff and students on the island of Gozo.
“I commend the determination of the people at the Gozo Campus, which offers the best possible opportunities to Gozitan students, and which has the resolution to expand its infrastructure to better accommodate the needs of these students”, she commented.
The Minister also visited the at the same campus, where she met director, , who gave an overview of the research being conducted at the centre.
