An academic from the Technical University of Moldova on a teaching visit at UM

Professor Svetlana Oleinic, an academic at the Department of Architecture within the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Technical University of Moldova (TUM), delivered lectures at the Department of History of Architecture, Faculty for the Built Environment, University of Malta. This visit was possible through the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility for Teaching Staff Mobility between the two universities. The mobility took place over the period 20-26 March 2026.

Prof. Oleinic delivered lectures to students following the course in history and theory of architecture at the Faculty for the Built Environment. Themes covered included the development of the phenomenon and principles of constructivism with special references to the leading revolutionary schools of architecture and design of the early twentieth century, namely the Bauhaus and Vkhutemas. She also participated in the course addressing contemporary approaches to architecture offered to students opting for the architecture stream at the same Faculty.
