Dr Nadine Tabone and Prof. Helen Grech from the Department of Human Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Malta recently participated in an Erasmus+ staff mobility visit at Heimerer College in Kosovo.
During the visit, they delivered lectures to students and engaged with academic staff in discussions on topics related to speech-language pathology and audiology. The programme also included participation in a round-table discussion with representatives from UNICEF, the Ministry of Health of Kosovo, and members of the college’s senior administration and academic staff. These exchanges provided a platform for sharing knowledge, discussing developments in the field, and exploring opportunities for collaboration.
The mobility offered a valuable opportunity to strengthen academic links between the University of Malta and Heimerer College, fostering dialogue and cooperation within the disciplines of speech-language pathology and audiology while contributing to the broader objectives of the Erasmus+ programme.
