Paul has been a full-time musician from the age of 16, when he began to pursue a professional career in music, having studied classical piano from the age of five.

Playing in top local music night spots with leading musicians, Paul developed a passion for jazz where he delved deeper in this genre with the help of his main mentors, Sammy Murgo, Charles 'City' Gatt & Antione Bonnici Soler. Over the years, Paul was invited to play amongst some of the finest local jazz musicians and eventually, with world renowned musicians. Moreover, he was invited to perform around eight times during the Malta Jazz Festival.

Paul currently leads a popular jazz trio ' Sfera' where they perform regularly in various jazz spots and are preparing to release their second album in April.

His programme on , Jazz & More, features a mix of top jazz albums of different styles aimed for a wide audience, from those who are getting interested in the genre, to the hard core fans, with an occasional interview with local, as well as top foreign artists, covering highlights from their careers and the current state of the vast art of jazz music.
