From 25 January to 31 January 2026, Odil Yunusov, a researcher from New Uzbekistan University, visited the Department of Physics at the University of Malta on an Erasmus+ mobility.
During his stay, he engaged in collaborative academic work focused on numerical cosmology. He received advanced training in specialised computational tools, including CLASS (Cosmic Linear Anisotropy Solving System) and the COBAYA framework for cosmological parameter estimation. Through daily discussions with faculty members and PhD students, he exchanged knowledge on these tools and their applications in cosmological research, contributing to the exchange of expertise between the two institutions.
Plans were also developed for continued collaboration, including extending the CLASS code to incorporate modified theories of gravity. The mobility was a valuable opportunity for academic exchange, professional development, and building sustainable international cooperation.
