Human dignity within the Maltese healthcare system: an unaffordable luxury?

This webinar will explore the role which the concept of Human Dignity plays within our healthcare system. It will also discuss how the Maltese legal system and the Maltese Courts have traditionally understood and interpreted this concept as well as how such concept has been and is currently understood and applied by medical practitioners in healthcare settings. Ultimately, it seeks to understand the criteria applied in practice for determining the State’s affordability or otherwise of medical treatment and healthcare in special circumstances.
