Event: Centre for Labour Studies Research Conference 2026
Date: Friday 8 May 2026
Time: 17:00-20:30
Venue: Aula Prima, UM Valletta Campus
The Centre for Labour Studies is pleased to announce that registrations are now open for the Centre for Labour Studies (CLS) Research Conference 2026, which will be held at the University of Malta Valletta Campus on Friday 8 May 2026 at 17:00.
This free public conference showcases original research by CLS academics and students. It reflects our belief in the importance of sharing research and encouraging discussion on key work-related issues. At a time of major change in the world of work, research is essential to understanding the challenges facing workers, employers, and society.
In Malta, where more work-related research is urgently needed, this conference creates a valuable space for discussion and exchange. Bringing together students, alumni, researchers, academics, and others interested in labour and employment, the conference offers a forum for engaging with current research and exploring important themes shaping the world of work.
The conference will also include a prize-giving ceremony, sponsored by Simonds Farsons Cisk plc and the Farsons Foundation, during which awards will be presented to CLS graduates of 2025 for the best dissertations and overall classification.
You can find more details about the conference and register online.
We look forward to seeing you there!
