Dr. Kevin Gatt read for the undergraduate degree in Architecture and Civil Engineering at the University of Malta after which he read for his postgraduate degree in Hydrology for Environmental Management at Imperial College (MSc) and later for a postgraduate degree Business Administration at the University of Malta (MBA). Dr Gatt also read for his Ph.D degree focusing on the issue of water governance. Kevin is responsible for lecturing in water resources and waste management as well as sustainable development within the Faculty for the Built Environment. He has also designed and coordinates the Master of Science Degree in Sustainable Infrastructure lecturing in Sustainable Development, Governance, Assessment and Indicators, Climate Change, Water and Waste.
Kevin also has an extensive career in the public administration having been involved in a number of national plans and reforms. He currently chairs the Strategic Environmental Assessment Focal Point Board. He is also a Trustee of the Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management in the UK.
Kevin's research interests focus on water resources and their governance, waste management and sustainable development.
