Manwel Debono is the Director of the Centre for Labour Studies. A Chartered Occupational Psychologist (British Psychological Society), he has served as an academic at the University of Malta since 2003. He has contributed to numerous national and European research projects on the labour market and the world of work, and has published widely in peer-reviewed journals as well as in reports, monographs, book chapters and books. He has also collaborated for many years with the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions and the European Employment Policy Observatory. His research interests include industrial relations, working conditions, human resources, and career guidance and development.
