Paving the Road to Reduce Motorcycle Accidents with ADAMS (An Adaptive Motorcycle Simulator)

A public engagement event titled “Paving the Road to Reduce Motorcycle Accidents with ADAMS (An Adaptive Motorcycle Simulator)” was held on the 7th April 2022 at Esplora. Each member of the RIDE+SAFE team delivered a presentation on the various aspects and achievements in the project.

A panel discussion was held to generate knowledge. In addition, the event featured a keynote speaker Ing. Alberto Strazzari, from Engines Engineering srl, in Bologna, Italy.

The event was also addressed by Dr Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando, CEO of MCST, Hon. Minister Clifton Grima, Minister for Education, Sports, Youth and Innovation and Keith Azzopardi Tanti, Parliamentary Secretary at the same Ministry.

Showcasing ADAMS

The research team at the University of Malta and WKD Works Ltd. working on the project is displaying an innovative motorcycle simulator at the foyer, Faculty of Engineering.

RIDE+SAFE Simulator: Jig Fabrication

As of March 2020, the RIDE+SAFE team in collaboration with WKD, the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering and System and Control Engineering within the University of Malta started fabricating the MoTo-FlexSI simulator.

Despite COVID-19 we are still going strong and are now at the prototype stage for the jig for the motorcycle. Watch this space (news) and our Facebook page for further updates.
