The Committee shall:
- Assist University of Malta and 臓an Fran摹isk Abela Junior College students by providing financial aid and other support to those facing hardships, specifically targeting resident students needing help with basic and essential needs, such as rent, utilities, food, medical costs and study materials
- Evaluate anonymised requests and disburses donations. Eligibility is determined following a thorough assessment completed by a UM social worker
- Provide short-term immediate aid capped at EUR 300, while partnering with state entities and NGOs to ensure holistic support
- Publish anonymised annual reports on the Student Solidarity Fund website detailing approvals and disbursements
