Abstract: Childhood obesity has become a significant public health issue in recent years, with rates rising globally at an alarming rate. Obesity not only affects physical health but also has profound implications for a child's emotional well-being and long-term health outcomes. Childhood obesity is not merely a concern of aesthetics; it is a pressing public health crisis that threatens the well-being of our youngest generation. In recent decades, the prevalence of childhood obesity has surged globally, reaching epidemic proportions, and posing significant challenges to healthcare systems, families and communities alike. As we delve deeper into the complexities of this issue, it becomes evident that the roots of childhood obesity are multifaceted, intertwined with socio-economic disparities, cultural norms, environmental influences and individual behaviours.
