Abstract: Antoine Camilleri was a prolific artist who left behind a huge legacy of works in an impressively wide range of media, including oil on wood, hardboard on canvas, pen and ink on paper, ceramics, objets-trouves, clay and resin, lino-prints, fibreglass and aluminium, red and black chalk, metallic paint, stained glass, ceramics, collages, and assemblages. Camilleri's use of such a "'ride variety of media, styles, and techniques, the feverish speed he worked at, and the constant flow of works he managed to produce, reflected his belief that 'art is like a river, a constantly changing river, otherwise it becomes stagnant'.
