| Abstract: | Manoel Theatre presents the programme for a double bill, featuring the plays "A Chorus of Disapproval" (produced by the M.A.D.C.), and "The Beggar's Opera" (produced by the Pendon Amateur Light Operatic Society, known as P.A.L.O.S.). The play "A Chorus of Disapproval" was written by Alan Ayckbourn, and directed by Marylu Coppini, with musical direction from Colin Zammit Lupi. The play "The Beggar's Opera" was written by John Gay, and directed by Dafydd Ap Llewellyn. The performances were held from the 6th till the 9th of November, 1997, at the Manoel Theatre, in Valletta. |
