| Abstract: | The papers presented at this conference have explored the issue of spirituality and spiritual care from a number of perspectives, including the historical roots of this aspect of nursing care (Rizzo Naudi 2007), current understanding of the concept of spirituality (McSherry 2007), research on spirituality (Ross 2007) and methods to integrate spirituality in nursing education (Narayanasamy 2007). I hope to summarise the main points which have arisen from these papers in terms of how we should move forward in research, education and clinical practice. |
