| Abstract: | The aim of this dissertation was the control of a three phase naturally commutated thyristor converter to control speed of a slip ring induction motor using slip energy recovery. The main feature of this dissertation was the synchronization and firing control of a three phase thyristor converter using a microprocessor. This was achieved using interrupts , so an adequate amount of information is given about handling hardware interrupts through software. |
