A supplement to 'A checklist of Maltese periodicals and newspapers' covering the years 1974-1987

Abstract

Our dissertation consists of an alphabetical list of Maltese periodicals whose first issues were published between the years 1974 and 1987 (both years inclusive). The listing covers the complete periodical holdings of the three major libraries in the Maltese Islands, namely the National Library of Malta, the University of Malta Library and the Gozo Public Library. It is intended to supplement Fr. Anthony Sapienza's Checklist (1977) and it will certainly prove useful in the bibliographic field, both local and overseas. All the information has been stored on computer disc so that every new periodical published can be inserted immediately after its appearance and thus the list can be kept up to date.
