Godfrey Baldacchino is professor of sociology at the University of Malta and has been the chair of the Board of the Centre for Labour Studies (as Rector’s Delegate) since 2010. He served as Research Assistant and Research Officer (1981-2001) and as Director (2001-2003) at the Workers’ Participation Development Centre, the precursor to the CLS. At the CLS, he lectures in globalisation, work and development; employee involvement and participation; and organisational design. He has a longstanding research interest in labour and industrial relations. His co-edited books include Evolving Industrial Relations in Malta (2003), Managing People in Malta (2003) and Malta and its Human Resources (2019).
