An art exhibition commemorating the activities held over 45 years ago by some young Maltese artists - Għaqda Artisti Żgħażagħ – is being held in Pjazza Teatru Rjal, Valletta, from 9 to 30 October 2015. This activity is also being held in memory of the members who have since passed away.
Six members who were active in Maltese culture within Għaqda Artisti Żgħażagħ - Carmel Azzopardi, Victor Axiak, Joe Cassar, Anthony Lucian Cauchi, Ganni Pace, and Patricia Sant are putting together the exhibition.
Two of the artists are members of staff of the University of Malta - Carmel Azzopardi at the Faculty of Engineering and Prof. Victor Axiak at the Department of Biology, Faculty of Science.
The exhibits will be up for sale and the proceeds will go to hospicemalta.
