To celebrate the 5th Centenary of the Birth of Saint Teresa of Jesus, the will host the Drama Centre in its latest recital of “Il-Kastell Interjuri” by Mario Azzopardi.
Inspired by the mystical treatise on the stages of mystical union between the human soul and God, Azzopardi brings to life the soul’s through successive inner “mansions” until she reaches the inner chamber of the transforming union of love.
The recital includes religious and liturgical musical interludes marking the souls inner journey to mystical ecstasy.
