ADHD Malta is organising a lecture about ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) by Dr Nicholas Myttas, Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry (UK).

This lecture is part of the ADHD-Europe October ADHD Awareness Campaign.
This invitation is specifically open to MDH staff, medical specialists, pediatricians and general practitioners, mental health and general nurses as well as students, all related private practitioners, occupational therapists and psychologists, etc. and relevant university students.

Students attending will be asked to sign an attendance sheet and receive a certificate.
Dr Myttas trained in adult psychiatry at the Charing Cross Hospital and in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at St George鈥檚 Hospital in London. He worked as a consultant in the NHS for seventeen years developing services for neuro-developmental disorders, teaching and training medical students, and trainee psychiatrists at Queen Mary鈥檚 and Bart鈥檚 Hospital Medical School and professionals allied to medicine, before moving on to full time private practice. He has had additional training at the Institute of Family Therapy, the Tavistock Centre and the Anna Freud Centre, in London.
He is a member of various national and international organisations, on the professional advisory board of ADDISS (the UK ADHD national charity) and complaints adviser (clinical associate) to the Care Quality Commission (the independent regulator of Health and Social Care in the UK).
He has an interest in integrative treatment approaches combining psychopharmacology and psychotherapy.
