Sciacca Short Film Festival at Villa Bologna Indoor Cinema on Saturday 21 November at 19:00.
The Sciacca Italian Short Film Festival Malta Edition brings a new concept to Short Film Cinema: instead of rushing to avoid the long queues, you get to relax around the gardens in a relaxed setting as a diverse programme of Italian short films unfolds in front of you.
In collaboration with the Sciacca Film Festival in Sicily, the SFF team has prepared a selection of some of their best shorts that will be screened for the very first time on the night. Presented by Marysia S.Peres, Sciacca Short Film Fest celebrates how short film cinema emanating from Italy and Sicily is an escapist journey to the Mediterranean鈥檚 melting pot and like Sicilian culinary delights, the films being screened are simple yet luxurious and indulgent. It provides a great opportunity for the audience to discover and experience the best short films coming from across a wide range of genres, from narrative to experimental途 documentaries and also animation. This festival is a unique alternative film distribution, exhibition platform as these short films don鈥檛 get to cinemas or TV, and here the audience is given the opportunity to vote for the best film. All films will have English subtitles.
