The National Museum of Fine Arts on South Street, Valletta shall be closing down in stages in 2016 to reopen in 2018 as MUZA, the new national community art museum at Auberge d'Italie.
As of March and until further notice, access to the museum鈥檚 research facilities will be restricted to inventory cards and related secondary sources. The curatorial staff at the museum will be doing its utmost, schedule permitting, to provide access to resources whenever possible.
