If you have any interest in singing, consider joining St Paul Choral Society. Apart from the pleasure of helping to make great music, the Society also goes on a tour every two years. During the summer of 2015 the Choir sang in Paris and two years before it sang in five prestigious venues in Austria. When the Choir is not on tour abroad the main concert is usually held at St John's Co-Cathedral, Valletta.
In November St Paul Choral Society will be performing an all Mozart concert, which will start with a relatively short piece, Misericordias Domini, and then sing the world-famous Requiem in D minor. Rehearsals have already started so those interested should join as early as possible.
A number of the choir members will be travelling to Vienna in July to sing the Requiem together with hundreds of singers from around the world, as part of the celebrations for Mozart's anniversary.
