Like Irish landscapes the short films being screened are varied, genre-defying and fascinating, from realistic portrayals of real-life people to narrative and experimental. Hosted by Audrey Scerri, this festival is a unique alternative film distribution, exhibition platform as these Irish shorts are not screened at local cinemas or TV, and additionally the audience will be given the opportunity to vote for the best film.
The Irish Short Film Festival 2017 Malta Edition is being supported by the Embassy of Ireland in Malta, Double R Meats, Harmony Farm, Jameson Irish Whiskey and Guinness.
